Founder’s Message

My professional journey began in 1988 in Mumbai, when I started Niche Ads & Marketing, an agency focused on market research, strategy, and brand communication. In the late ’90s, Kerala-based Ayurveda companies looking to expand into North India approached me for guidance. That was the beginning of a deeper connection—with Ayurveda and its powerful philosophy of health and healing.

By 2000, I had fully immersed myself in the world of Ayurveda, working with leading brands across Kerala and walking alongside respected scholars in the field. In 2011, I set up a 30-bed Kerala Ayurveda specialty hospital in Thane, Mumbai. Over the years, I’ve also helped coordinate several public health initiatives, especially during pandemic periods, by bridging efforts between government bodies and the private sector.

LadyDr was born from countless conversations with parents and individuals worried that younger generations were losing touch with Ayurveda. Many felt that the industry wasn’t communicating effectively with today’s audience. That’s when the idea took root—to create a platform that not only makes Ayurveda accessible but also addresses the most pressing health needs of women.

Through deep research and insights, we found that women’s wellness was one of the most underrepresented yet most searched-for healthcare spaces. And so, LadyDr.com was created—a platform rooted in Ayurvedic wisdom, focused on empowering women with holistic, science-backed care.
