Depending on how you use Lady Doctor, information may include account details, contact information, age or life-stage information, health concerns, consultation preferences, appointment information, uploaded patient documents, prescription files, doctor or practice information, product order information, messages submitted through forms and consent records.
How information is used
Information is used to operate patient and doctor accounts, recommend or connect patients with relevant practitioners, coordinate appointments through the Care Desk, process product requests, review prescription-required product requests, coordinate fulfilment with Logistics, provide platform notifications, support doctors and respond to enquiries.
Health and prescription information
Health information and prescription files should be treated as sensitive information. Access is limited to authorised functions and personnel required for care coordination, review or fulfilment. Prescription files are not intended to be exposed through public URLs.
WhatsApp and third-party services
When you choose to continue a request through WhatsApp or an external marketplace such as Amazon, Flipkart or Dhanhealth, your interaction with that service is also subject to the third party’s own terms and privacy practices. Marketplace links are optional convenience links and are separate from Lady Doctor’s own order records.
Testimonials, stories and video links
Stories submitted by users are not published automatically. Lady Doctor Admin may review and edit submissions for clarity, privacy, presentation and compliance before publication. Users must provide consent when submitting a public story. Instagram and YouTube videos may be embedded from the original hosting platform.
Doctors and practice locations
Doctor profiles may include professional credentials, languages, care areas, availability and linked practice locations. Lady Doctor aims to verify profile information before publication, but users should confirm relevant credentials and consultation details when appropriate.
Security and access control
The platform uses password hashing, role-based access, session controls, CSRF protection, restricted administrative areas and validated uploads. Internal Super Admin, Doctor Admin and Staff access is not advertised on the public website and restricted areas are protected server-side.
Retention and deletion
Information may be retained for as long as reasonably required for platform operations, healthcare coordination, legal or accounting obligations, dispute handling, security and audit purposes. Retention periods should be finalised as part of Lady Doctor’s legal and compliance review.

You may contact Lady Doctor regarding correction of account information, privacy questions or requests relating to information associated with your account, subject to applicable legal and operational requirements.
Emergency care
Lady Doctor is not an emergency service. Anyone experiencing a medical emergency should contact an appropriate emergency healthcare service immediately.
